Classes
Bring in a friend or loved one and learn how to massage them or each other! Receive one on one professional instruction tailored to your educational goals.In your first lesson, you will learn all three Basic Techniques. Policies
In order to maintain the best therapeutic experience within my practice and to ensure that I can provide everyone with the same considerate care, I have established the following policies that are required of all my clients.Arriving To Your Massage:For your first massage, please arrive 15 mins early to allow for adequate time to go over your intake form, for us to address any concerns you may have, and for you to use the restroom without feeling rushed.Medical Intake Forms:All clients are required to have a medical intake form on file. This form is protected under HIPAA privacy laws and will be kept private within this practice.Please tell me about all recent surgeries, injuries, injection sites, rashes, lesions, conditions, and medications. Some known conditions make it unsafe to massage. It is also important to know if your are currently pregnant, no matter what trimester.You are responsible for informing your massage therapist of any updates that need to be made to your intake form.Financial Responsibility:Appointments must be paid for before receiving any services. Services can be paid for in person or over the phone.Accepted forms of payment include a valid gift card, cash, or any card compatible with Square (Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover).All transactions are non refundable unless the service paid for can no longer be provided by Abbey LMT.Late Arrival Policy:Unfortunately, late arrivals will not receive an extension to their appointment time. Appointment times run consecutively and tardiness affects others.Late arrivals are still expected to pay in full for their booked appointment time.Cancellation Policy:Please provide at least 6 hours notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your massage. This allows another client the opportunity to book that time slot or for me to make other plans with my day.Clients will not be charged for rescheduled or canceled appointments. Clients should reschedule or cancel their appointment if they are sick to prevent the spread of illness.I reserve the right to no longer book appointments with clients who regularly reschedule or cancel appointments on short notice.No Show Policy:I reserve the right to no longer book appointments with clients who fail to show up to their sessions with no prior notice.To avoid this, please communicate with me if you are running late for an appointment or need to cancel an appointment at any time.Draping:Clients will be securely covered during every session or class. The only areas that will be uncovered when needed are those that are being worked on.At no time will clothing or sheets be permitted to expose genitalia, breasts, or the gluteal cleft. Even with men, sheets will not be draped below the nipple.If at any time during the session the draping policy is purposefully broken, the session will be terminated, you will be required to leave, and you will be terminated as a client without the possibility of rebooking.Zero Tolerance Toward Solicitation:Anyone who exhibits inappropriate behavior during any portion of their therapeutic relationship will be permanently removed as a client and blocked from all future contact. Depending on the severity of the offense, a police report will be filed.Ending a Session Early:Clients and massage therapist have a right to end a session at any time for any reason. Rebooking for another time or a partial or full refund for your appointment can be discussed based on the reason for ending the session.
